Two young Excelsior Springs wrestlers brought back medals from their trip last week to Springfield. Representing the Excelsior Springs Youth Wrestling Club, Celvin Holsey and Zane Pyzer finished third and fifth, respectively, at the Missouri USA Wrestling state folkstyle tournament.

Betts signs to wrestle with Carthage College

Alyssa Betts will soon head north. The Excelsior Springs senior recently signed her letter of intent to study and wrestle at Carthage College, an NCAA Division III program in Kenosha, Wis., with an undergraduate enrollment of 2,616 students.
