Memorial Day event occurs inside, mostly

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Those who remembered fallen service members Monday in Excelsior Springs had to adapt to the weather. Originally, the annual Memorial Day ceremony was expected to take place outdoors at the six veterans monuments on the Clay Ray Veterans Association grounds.
THE FIRST commemorative wreath is placed in front of the stage for Memorial Day in Excelsior Springs. Other wreaths are placed to honor fallen members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine. Excelsior Springs district OKs math service for schools

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The school district has another new math service. On May 10, the Board of Education approved an agreement with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt to provide Into Math services for grades K-5, effective the 2021-22 school year and priced at $112,043.
