Excelsior Springs voters will decide on a proposed operating tax levy increase during the April 8 election, aiming to boost staff salaries and benefits throughout the school district. The Excelsior Springs School District (ESSD) has officially appointed Doug Baker as the new activities director, succeeding Eric Marshall, who has announced his retirement after years of dedicated service.
