Excelsior Springs is nearing a 20-win season in varsity softball. Following blowouts of Raytown South and Smithville early this week, the Tigers were 17-8 overall entering Wednesday’s meeting with Fort Osage in Independence.

Excelsior Springs has outdone itself this season in varsity boys soccer. With Monday’s home rout of Raytown South, the Tigers had won five straight entering a Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference-Blue Division meeting Wednesday with Kearney on the road – their longest winning streak this season.
