EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Another varsity softball season is in the books. The Tigers finished 7-12 overall and 2-4 in Missouri River Valley Conference West Division play.
Poor Gregg Williams. That thought crossed my mind before my beloved Kansas City Chiefs faced the winless New York Jets, for whom Williams serves as defensive coordinator.
EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Tyler Rumore has achieved the goal many Missouri high school cross country runners strive to attain: a trip to state competition. The Excelsior Springs junior secured his spot in the Class 4 state boys race, scheduled for 11 a.m.
KEARNEY – Another Excelsior Springs volleyball season is over. The Tigers’ season ended last week after a first-round win and a semifinal loss in Class 4 District 16 Tournament action in Kearney.
LENEXA, Kansas – The Excelsior Springs Knuckleheadz did not let themselves get outsmarted when they played Oct. 17 and 18 in tournament competition at the 3& 2 East Complex in Johnson County.
