EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – City leaders want to refine Excelsior Springs’ rules governing dangerous dogs before possibly repealing a decades-old pit bull ban. An ordinance repealing the ban was on the agenda for Monday night’s City Council meeting at the Hall of Waters.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Missouri Department of Transportation will start pavement repairs on U.S. 169, north and south, between Route KK and 200th Street at the Clinton County line from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday until April 29.

RICHMOND – COVID-19 numbers are down – way down – from earlier this year in Ray County. Numbers are down statewide, too.

Three candidates sought one Excelsior Springs City Council seat. Mark Spohn won the council seat easily.

AT EXCELSIOR SPRINGS Nursing and Rehabilitation, Sadie Pahich turns 100 years old on March 25. “We had a big cake, music played for her, and there were family and friends that came as well. She was happy, surprised. She had a good time,” the center’s business director, Melissa L. McConnell, says. Pahich has lived at the center since 2018.
