State, Area Agencies on Aging unite on vaccines to aid seniors

JEFFERSON CITY – The state has launched a program to assist older Missourians with accessing COVID-19 vaccine. In partnership with the Department of Health and Senior Services, or DHSS, and the Missouri’s Area Agencies on Aging, or AAAs, will assist seniors with online vaccination registration, coordinate round trip transportation to and from their vaccination appointments, and conduct reminder calls for seniors’ second doses.

Coalitions start anti-vaping program

LIBERTY – The Northland Coalition, Youth with Vision and community prevention coalitions from across Clay, Platte and Ray counties offer a free, text-based program to help youth quit e-cigarette vaping.
