Fatal crash near airport

Body THE CLAY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE is investigating a fatal plane crash that occurred just north of the Midwest National Air Center near Mosby. Deputies received a call just before noon on Aug. 27 reporting heavy smoke coming from a field near NE 140th Street and Rhodus Road.
