EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Clay County and Excelsior Springs’ populations are skewing toward aging, Cathy Boyer-Shesol told city leaders June 21. Boyer-Shesol is project manager for the Mid-America Regional Council’s KC Communities for All Ages initiative.

JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, or DHSS, reminds Missourians the battle against COVID-19 continues. In Ray County over the past four weeks, the death toll has risen from 26 to 28 people, the county health department reported.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The City Council approved Layne Christensen Co.’s $89,643 bid to inspect and clean three wells. City documents identified the Kansas City, Kansas, company as one of two companies to bid on the project.
