Darrell Ray Holt, 37, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, passed away Sept. 23, 2020, in Macon, Missippi, on his way home from helping restore power in Alabama.

LIBERTY – Election officials in Ray and Clay counties said they plan for secure, safe elections – free from violence some fear and guarding against COVID-19. “My office is doing what they’re supposed to do and if everybody else does what they’re supposed to do, we’ll have no problems,” Ray County Clerk Glenda Powell, the county’s chief election official, said.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Senior Life Solutions program at Excelsior Springs Hospital is spreading the word about a growing concern in Clay County – and America in general. That concern is suicide among the elderly.
