Job Corps loses students; district loses funding

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The school district expects a slight uptick in Job Corps student enrollment within the next few months, Superintendent Travis Hux told district leaders Jan. 10 during the Board of Education meeting at the Support Services Center.

City taps new audit firm

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The City Council voted Dec. 20 at the Hall of Waters to approve a three-year auditing agreement with Springfield-based Baird, Kurtz and Dobson LLP.
