Excelsior Springs has its first Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference-Blue Division dual victory this season in varsity girls golf. The Tigers got the win against Winnetonka, a Kansas City-based school, Sept.

Four firefighters from the Excelsior Springs Fire Department (ESFD) bravely participated in the poignant Kansas City 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. Their noble act was a heartfelt tribute to the fallen firefighters of Sept.11, 2001, honoring their bravery and sacrifice.
