Don “Donnie” H. Overbey, 80, of Excelsior Springs, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020. Don was born Dec. 9, 1939, in Plattsburg to Francis and Grace (Wayman) Overbey. His family moved to Excelsior Springs when he was 5 and lived here ever since. He was a 1957 Excelsior Springs High School graduate. Don was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Don retired from Ford Motor Co. after 38 years.
