City pursues public transit grant funds

Technical issues on Zoom couldn’t stop the Excelsior Springs City Council from voting Sept. 6 to pursue public transit funding – or from holding a meeting in general.

BRIAN RICE | Publisher City leaders are requesting $370,220 in grant funding from MoDOT to help manage the city’s public transportation costs. If awarded, the city would like to purchase a new wheelchair-accessible van to join its fleet of vehicles.
