The Excelsior Springs Area Career Center (ESACC) students are getting ready for the next SkillsUSA competition. ESCC has 47 children registered for the upcoming district events that will take place on Feb. 13, 16 and 20.
The Excelsior Springs girls wrestling program has turned its focus to the postseason. The girls finished their regular-season schedule last week, defeating Raytown South 54-22 Jan.

LATHROP – On Feb. 3, eight Excelsior Springs boys wrestlers who had battled injuries or illness this season opted to get in some mat time by competing at the Lathrop Invitational.
Field Specialist in Nutrition and Health Melissa Cotton from the University of Missouri Extension’s Health and Well-Being Department has agreed to host a free Tai Chi class in Excelsior Springs. Classes will be held every Monday and Friday at noon, through March 22.
