Tackett enters not guilty plea

Body The Excelsior Springs Police Department reported the following arrests handled recently by the department. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7 At 1:50 p.m., Jessica Haymond, 27, was arrested for failure to appear.

Trial date set for Bass

Body A Feb. 5, 2024 jury trial date has been set for Keith Bass II, in the case of the alleged murder of Theresa Bass, 44, and the attempted murder of Bobby Neal Jr., who succumbed to his injuries on March 18.

Senior Center offering lunch, activities

Body The Excelsior Springs Senior Center lunch program for senior citizens — one of the largest in the area — is now back in full swing. Area seniors ages 60 and older are served meals and can take part in the activities offered as well.
