Library trades food for fines through Saturday

Mid-Continent Public Library’s Food for Fines program is back The biannual program runs now through Sunday. Library customers have the chance to donate nonperishable food items in place of money to pay off overdue fines or replacement card charges. Food donations benefit the Good Samaritan Center.

ES boys take second in home soccer tourney

Last week, the Tigers found themselves playing for a tournament championship in varsity boys soccer for the second time this season. Unlike the first time they played for a title, however, they had to settle for being runners-up.
