EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Music was in the air May 1 for Gatsby Day, the Excelsior Springs Cultural Guild’s annual festival to raise scholarship funds. During the afternoon, musical acts performed on Broadway and Thompson.

Missouri has no tolerance for underage drinking

JEFFERSON CITY – At the end of this year’s first quarter, teen fatalities in Missouri climbed 63% over this time last year. In the last three years, 24 fatal crashes and 101 serious injury crashes involved an alcohol-impaired driver under the age of 21.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The 2020 presidential election had the highest voter turnout of the 21st century, with 66.8% of people 18 years and older casting ballots, details released April 29 by the U.S. Census Bureau revealed.
