The SAFE program is designed to educate the community about the importance of 40 developmental assets in a child’s experience to assure the child thrives throughout life.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – John Ruddy praised the Excelsior Springs School District for the Alternative Methods of Instruction-Extended, or AMI-X, plan to teach students during the coronavirus pandemic. EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – A shopping spree to raise scholarship funds also helps a family in need. Rotary President Melinda Mehaffy says the charitable organization sold 322 raffle tickets worth $3,220 to fund two $750 scholarships and pay expenses.
