The Excelsior Springs Police Department reported the following incidents handled recently by the department.

Tuesday, April 21

8:05 a.m., 200 block of E. Broadway, Amanda Bond, WF, 29 surrendered on a local warrant for failure to appear for unpaid fines. She released with a court date.

12:05 p.m., 2200 block of Patsy Lane, Stacy Peak, WF. 39 was issued a summons for shoplifting. She was released at the scene with a court date.

U.S. SEN. ROY BLUNT joins President Trump at the White House for the signing of the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act. The bill, which unanimously passed the Senate, provides coronavirus relief funding for small businesses, agriculture producers,hospitals and health care providers. The bill also includes Blunt’s “shark tank” proposal to speed the development of new coronavirus tests.
