Moffett, Rogers win titles at Blue Division meet

Body On May 3, Braxton Moffett and Kinley Rogers left Raytown South High School as champions. The two Excelsior Springs student athletes won a title apiece at the Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference-Blue Division track and field championships.

Body Excelsior Springs nearly swept the varsity portion of the Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference-Blue Division boys golf tournament. A Tiger took the individual title at the May 2 competition at Excelsior Springs Golf Course, as Landon Biermann shot his way to victory with an 85.

Body In June, the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame will induct another representative of Excelsior Springs High School. Shaun Marcum, a 2000 Excelsior Springs graduate, will be part of this year’s class.
