Body Excelsior Springs has been almost unbeatable lately in varsity girls soccer.

Body Mason Danner “deserved a better fate” when Excelsior Springs faced Oak Park April 15 as part of a rain-shortened triangular at Tiger Stadium, according to Tigers coach Aaron Holst. Danner was the starting pitcher in Excelsior Springs’ 15-3 loss to the Northmen.

Body The Tigers racked up the top-eight finishes when they competed April 6 at the Kearney Classic Invitational. The Excelsior Springs boys finished with 11 top-eight finishes in tallying 54.5 points – sixth among 10 schools.

Body An Excelsior Springs coaching legend has been inducted into another hall of fame. Vic Bonuchi, a longtime football, wrestling and baseball coach for the Tigers, was recently selected for induction into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.
