Joe Greim is receiving recognition as he finishes his career in education. The Excelsior Springs activities director, who’ll soon retire after a 30year career, received the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) Distinguished Service Award in February during state wrestling competition in Columbia.

Burton takes sixth at girls state tourney

Excelsior Springs boys hoopsters end skid

Excelsior Springs ended the regular season of varsity boys basketball with a win – and started the postseason with one. The Tigers were slated to face Odessa Wednesday night in the Class 4 District 15 Tournament semifinals at Oak Grove.

ES sends four boys grapplers to state

Four Excelsior Springs boys wrestlers were hoping to have state medals before this week was over. Ryne Marcum, Cooper Collins, Hunter Scoma and Micah Danner competed in Class 2 state competition, which was slated to begin Wednesday and conclude Thursday at Mizzou Arena in Columbia.
