Council OKs FD radio system upgrade

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The City Council approved the Fire Department’s radio system upgrade request. Assistant Chief of Communications Camron White told city leaders in a memo that updating the system would cost $291,018 with an estimated $2,500 licensing fee.

UCM promised historic gift

Body WARRENSBURG – The University of Central Missouri Alumni Foundation announced 1973 alumnus Frank “Chip” Deel made a trust estate gift valued at $15 million to UCM – the largest in school history.
