HIGGINSVILLE – On April 21, Excelsior Springs junior Ethan Edwards weathered a cold, windy day at Higginsville Country Club. And he had a first-place individual medal to show for his perseverance.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The school district is entering a program that might reduce its carbon footprint while helping reduce the chances the area will experience rolling blackouts during extreme weather, like some parts of the country experienced this winter.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Superintendent Dan Hoehn recommended the Excelsior Springs School District reevaluate the size of summer school programs in 2022. Hoehn, who will retire in June, made his recommendation during the Board of Education’s April 12 meeting following a report by Anneliese Tadlock.
