County strikes a win in war against fentanyl

In a months-long investigation, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office’s Special Operations Squad and Drug Trafficking Force have charged two people associated with fentanyl trafficking in Avondale. According to a recent press release from the county, Garrett Moulder, 38, has been charged with two counts of drug trafficking, unlawful use of a weapon and theft of a firearm.

Measles detected in Clay

The Clay County Public Health Center recently confirmed a measles case in a Liberty resident who also spent time at the Kansas City International Airport Thursday, Jan. 4, and North Kansas City Hospital Jan. 5-6.
