As cold winter air sets in with snow in the forecast, Emily Johnston, veterinarian from the Excelsior Springs Animal Clinic, and retired veterinarian Pete Rucker, discuss ways of keeping furry friends safe and warm through the winter season.

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) recently released winter driving safety tips for motorists to be aware of when heading out onto the snowy streets. According to www.Modot.org, drivers should pay special attention to safety when driving on snowpacked and iced-over roadways.
