O’Dell Cabin to receive dedication

Body The Osage Daughters of the American Colonist (DAC) will honor Lettis Clevenger O’Dell with a dedication ceremony at the O’Dell Cabin at 2 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Golf Course Pavilion, located at 1201 Golf Hill Drive.

City property tax rollback approved in city budget

Body Excelsior Springs’ 2024 municipal budget will reflect a 5.5% tax decrease in property taxes while keeping true to the city council’s top five priorities. Molly McGovern, city manager, said the a decrease in property reassessments means a decrease in tax rates.

City employees receive thanks for hard work

Body Excelsior Springs city leaders gathered to thank hardworking employees employed for five years or more at a recent luncheon event. “We’re glad to have this opportunity to show appreciation for the work that you do every day,” Molly McGovern, city manager, said.
