The Excelsior Springs Police Department reported the following arrests handled recently by the department. WEDNESDAY, MAY 31 At 1:47 a.m., Joshua Duncan Sr., 45, was arrested for domestic assault.

Delinquency Unit Office Staff Jeanetta Belfonte and Connie Bell of the CCJO explained there are several programs available which the community can utilize.
The 17th Annual Wine Festival was deemed an “absolute success” by Carrie Karr, a member of the festival staff. After a walk down Lover’s Lane in East Valley Park, guests were able to sample 85 various wines from 20 Missouri wineries while listening to live music performed by the Brody Busters Band.

Excelsior Springs Parks and Recreation and Community Center’s Youth and Family Coordinator Kyria Hood explained that in 1985 Parks and Recreation Month was nationally recognized through the National Recreation and Parks Association.
