OAK GROVE – The Tigers were one and done in the postseason in girls basketball. Excelsior Springs’ season ended Feb.

LEE’S SUMMIT – Excelsior Springs rolled its way to a tie for second place in February in a club bowling tournament at Summit Lanes in Lee’s Summit. The Tigers rolled a 289 in their first game, then followed that with a 231.

ST. CHARLES – The Tigerettes danced their way to a state championship Feb.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – One winning streak for Excelsior Springs ended in varsity boys basketball. And then another started and ended.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Ayden Dolt is seeing the results of his dedication to wrestling. In February, the Excelsior Springs senior capped his high school career by winning the Class 2 152-pound state title.

COLUMBIA – Ayden Dolt went out a state champion. The Excelsior Springs senior went 4-0 at the Class 2 state boys wrestling tournament, held Feb.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – From Feb. 10 to 16, the Tigers did something they had not done in varsity boys basketball since the 2012-2013 season: They staged a three-game winning streak.

COLUMBIA – Two Excelsior Springs wrestlers narrowly missed the medal round at the state girls wrestling tournament. Senior Jacey Brewer and Junior Vada Burton each went 2-2 and fell in the bubble round at the double-elimination tournament, held Feb.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Tigers started with a bang Feb. 16, when they hosted North Platte in varsity girls basketball.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The field is set for the Class 2 state boys wrestling competition. That field includes five Excelsior Springs grapplers.
