Happy, Crawley headed to state

Body Annalese Happy and Adrien Crawley have more matches to wrestle this season for Excelsior Springs. Happy, a first-year high schooler; and Crawley, a sophomore, will represent the Tigers at Class 1 state competition, scheduled for Feb.

Kearney Newspaper Club learns about field

Body Richmond News and Excelsior Springs Standard reporter Miranda Jamison presented a newspaper interview guide at Hawthorne Elementary of Kearney last week. The elementary school hosts an after-school newspaper club comprised of third through fifth-grade students who meet weekly.
